See I said I wouldn't be very good at this!
Ok so we went camping again this weekend- Higgins Lake again. It was just as nice and Jesse didn't make any waves with any neighboring campers. Gunner had a good time- always wanting to go for a bike ride. Which means he rides and Jesse and I walk. We went for ice cream both days- good thing we don't live there!
Steven come up and seen us on Saturday and hung out for the evening. And on Sunday evening Denny and Sally come over to say HI (Jesse & I work with Denny out of Grand Rapids).
Our camping weekends are coming to an end. We have a wedding this coming wedding (Jesse's cousin Lindsay) in Manistee, holiday the next weekend, and Casey's wedding the following. Not to mention training season has been upon us for the last month now; and kill season is less than a month away! Bear season won't be the same this year- not having the cabin has really sucked!! But nothing we can do about it now- crazy people sure can make a mess in a hurry!
Well that's it for now, talk to you all soon!

Pictures As Promised
Well Shannon this is for YOU!
So Shannon has been after me to start a blog- so here I am giving in! No promises on how well I will keep it up- Oh sure it will go good for the first week- or maybe month- but after that we will have to see! Not to state the obvious but I am pretty new to this so hang with me as I learn to be a "blogger". I'm not really sure that we really do anything to talk about that's why I am not sure how well I will do at this! I will see about getting some picture up- even though I don't really know how yet :) Most of my newest pics are on my phone- which I can't get off. So for now you will have to be happy with some older ones.
What we have done lately: Last weekend we went to Higgins Lake camping (South side, West park). We arrived on Saturday afternoon to wait in line, which resulted in Jesse pissing some lady off- he just walked past her truck to see what the line up was all about and to stretch his legs- didn't really think it was that big of a deal- apparently she thought he was cutting in line- which consist of exchange of words that went along the lines of "get off my back I'm just walking" really there was more but you get it. We get through the line, find our spot and who pulls up and lands just two spots away? Yes the pissy lady and her grouchy husband! Not a big deal our trailer "back" is to them- BUT they have a 6yr old boy (Cruz) who no more than gets his bike under him and has planted himself at our camp- nice kid but a little awkward to say the least. We ignored those neighbors as much as possible and the rest of our trip was wonderful. We stayed for only 2 nights but would love to go back. The beach was wonderful- perfect for Gunner since it is so shallow for a very long ways out. Bob & Marcy as well as my mom & dad come up for dinner on Sunday night, Gunner loves having all that attention- who wouldn't!
The rest of this week has been pretty normal- just working. Katie and I did take Gunner to the Isabella County fair last night. Marcy had watched him yesterday while I was at work and when I picked him up she said something about getting an elephant ear. While at the fair we had seen the sheep and cows and I ask Gunner if he wanted to see the horses- he said "see the elephants first!" We didn't find any elephants but did find elephant ears. It rained just before we left and we all got drenched- but Gunner had a good time- we met Marie, Jaden and Kelly (Marie's dad) there. Jaden milked a cow and then it was off to the rides, Grandpa Kelly bought ride tickets so they got to have lots of fun!
Well hopes this was good enough for now- we'll see what happens from here!
